208 STEELIX 924cm The first discovered "steel" musu (in Johto) is Steelix. Which are actually Onix that undergo a particular ardent shift. It's believed this shift results from the musu training their physical toughness so much that their stone bodies refine into ore and then further into metal. Steelix prefer to dwell where they train that being mountainous areas and large cave systems. Here they push their steel scales to the limit in an effort to strengthen them even more. They do this by purposely rusting parts of their coat and then breaking them off so they can grow in stronger than before. Unlike their Onix sisters, Steelix won’t attack people on sight. Though they still might be aggressive if you’re exceptionally obnoxious and or get in the way of them pursuing their as they say “sick gains”. While Steelix’s defense is impeccable when it comes to physical strength, they have trouble when attacked with fire, water and even some earth magi-cks. No matter how dense metal is, it still always has a melting point and Steelix has few recourses against such attacks. Some Steelix have tried to purify their metal to the point that it could withstand these attacks but a-ttempts thus far haven’t been successful. sTrainer Tips Kantonian and Johto scholars have debated incessantly on who discovered steel musu first. Kantonians technica-l lly categorized Magnemite first but forgot to analyze the musu’s mana makeup and thus labeled it as purely electric, it was only when Steelix was presented that they thought to recheck their data.
